Cogenerazione Tempesti
Cogeneration is the combined production of electrical and thermal energy. The insertion of an engine for cogeneration in one of our production sites is an optimal choice from an energy, economic and environmental point of view, as approximately 60% of our fuel gas consumption is attributable to the thermal power plant serving the production cycle. For this reason, we have installed a methane gas cogenerator capable of producing electrical and thermal energy used directly in the production cycle. The plant is equipped with a special water accumulation to store heat in moments of low thermal load.
The construction of a cogeneration plant has therefore allowed us to increase the energy efficiency of our production site, thus ensuring a longer life for the planet's energy resources, reducing energy supply costs and reducing carbon dioxide emissions in the environment . The intervention therefore involves environmental benefits, in accordance with the vision of our company.
